The European Night of Museums

International Council of Museums (ICOM) annually and internationally initiates events of the International Museums’ Day (18th of May). Starting the year 2005 an event of international museums’ community "European Night of Museum" is being organized and joined by Lithuanian museums. The goal of the event is to show museums’ expositions and exhibitions at night, the time when normally museums are closed, in order to attract to museums more various audiences.
