Museum’s Collection
The Museum stores exhibits in archaeology, folk art, history and household of manors, towns and churchvillages, rural architecture and ethnography.The stream of Daugyvene

Expositions
The exposition contained in the Museum and its subdivisions make visitors familiar with monuments of archaeology and mythology located in the northern part of Middle Lithuania, history of its towns, church-villages, manors and hamlets, as well as their architecture, household, folk art and customs.

Historical and cultural monuments protected by the Museum:

  • The Raginenai mound (the Hill of Witches);

  • The ancient settlement of the Raginenai mound ;

  • The Raginenai burrows I;

  • The Raginenai burrows II (Hill of Backirkalnis);

  • The Raginenai burrows III;

  • The ancient settlement of Raginenai (Vokzalas);

  • The ancient burial-ground of Raginenai (Sturiskiai);

  • The Pakalniskes mound (Hill of Kleboniskis);

  • The windmill of KleboniskesThe Pakalniskes (Kleboniskiai) burrows;

  • The mythological stone of Daukoniai (the Altar of Ramyte);

  • The stone with dishes in the Kleboniskiai village;

  • The Pakalniskes ancient burial-ground;

  • The ensemble of buildings of the Burbiskis Manor and the park with a system of ponds;

  • The monument for poet Adomas Mickevicius;

  • The monument for Vytautas, the Great Duke of Lithuania;

  • The sculpture “Holy Mary stepping on grass-snake”;

  • The Burbiskis stone with dishes;

  • The Burbiskis mythological stone (“Holy Mary’s footmark”);

  • The Pakalniskes (Kleboniskes) windmill.

Cultural, educational activities
The Museum arranges conferences, seminars, calendar festivities, get-togethers, musical evenings, concerts, meetings, jubilees etc.
