„Baroti” Gallery is in Klaipeda Old
Town, in a renovated German house. There is an exhibition hall in the
gallery where personal or group exhibitions of different artists are held
and renewed every three weeks. There is also a general exhibition hall
where the works of different art styles of the Lithuanian artists are
constantly exhibited and renewed. The works of the most popular and most
famous artists (paintings, graphics, photos, sculptures, ceramics works as
well as stained-glass windows) can be obtained here.
The main area of „Baroti” Gallery’s work is to familiarize Klaipeda
society and Lithuanian guests with the modern tendencies and directions in
modern Lithuanian art and the art of the other countries. In 8 years of
existence „Baroti” Gallery has organized more than 150 exhibitions.
