Shrove Tuesday
During the most frenzied of days masked merrymakers can be found in gardens and roadsides. There are also the sumptuous dishes and odoriferous smells, swings (see-saws), horse-riding, the struggle of Lašininis and Kanapinis, games, casting lots, and other tales, the burning of Morė…

Easter
As nature reawakes, the greatest spring holiday Easter Sunday. In the gardens, holiday exhibitions, traditional games with Easter eggs, contests, Easter presents, horse-riding, riding by a horse-drawn wagon, swings (see-saws), casting lots, games, dances and other fun-filled activities…

Sunday after Easter
During the Second Easter Sunday – Little Easter or Children’s Easter – there are children’s games with and without Easter eggs, horse-drawn wagons, and perhaps a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Whitsun
Giving alms at the chapel of St. Mišia, the crowning of animals with wreaths, shepherds’ festivals. It is said, that on the fire or in the pan there will be enough for all.

Day of Mourning and Hope (June 14)

St. John’s Day (June 24)
Ritual magic water, …, lots, fortunes predicted, songs paying homage to the sun, the greeting of men with the name of “Jonas ” (John), numerous festivities ( “… it wasn’t decent to go to St. John’s Day and not to take anything), dances, songs, games, and spinning wheels.

Statehood Day (The Coronation of King Mindaugas) (July 6)
In the Town which is spruced up for the holiday, there is a ceremonious flag-raising ceremony, a concert by the folk orchestra and dances where townspeople take part as well as a program by the folklore ensemble.

Assumption of Mary (August 15)
Exhibition of bouquets, holy mass at the chapel, bouquets of flowers and greenery, the blessing of crops, fruits, and vegetables, the presentation of the healing properties of gardens and fields, songs, dances, and games.

Crafts’ Day
Crafts – all that you can see. Come all and see what there is, and perhaps, have a go yourself at making some crafts.

Christmas Market
“Candy-market” – holiday sweets. The work of handymen – decorating the Christmas tree and preparing gifts. Games, horse-drawn wagons and other winter activities.
