Opening hours:
Exposition: Monday – Saturday 10–18.
Belfry: Tuesday – Saturday 9–18 (tickets until 17.30).
Admission:
Visitors with a purchase of the tickets may also visit the architectural
ensemble of Vilnius University.
Museum and the architectural ensemble of Vilnius University:

pupils, students, disabled people – 1 Lt.
Belfry:

Collection
The museum is located in Sts. Johns’ Church, in the centre of Vilnius
University’s old architectural ensemble. The museum stores many valuable
collections of numismatics, medals and graphic works. There are many
collections rich in the exhibits of pictorial art, sculpture, manuscripts,
books and material records as well.

Vilnius University
1579–1773–1803–1832

The exhibition displays the development of law, humanitarian, natural and
hard sciences in the University of Vilnius in 1579–1842.
Medicine in Vilnius
University 1781–1832–1842

The exposition encompasses the period from the beginning of teaching the
course of higher medicine in Vilnius University to the closure of Vilnius
Medicine-Surgery Academy.
Theology in Vilnius
University 1579–1832

In this exposition, the portraits of scientists that formerly worked in the
University of Vilnius, books, manuscripts, maps, plans, and diplomas are
displayed.
