Information for Visitors
Working Hours: (from May till October) Wednesday - Saturday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Tickets: Adults – 4 Lt; children, retired persons, students – 2 Lt;
Excursion – 15 Lt.
The entrance to the museum is free for orphans, inmates of Children Homes, disabled persons (of 1st and 2nd groups), children of pre-school age, museum workers.

Exposition
The museum of Samogitian village, stretching for 15 hectares, is situated in authentic buildings of the end of the 19th c. - the beginning of the 20th c. In these buildings, the household utensils, agricultural equipment and furniture of those times are presented.

The museum organizes traditional folklore festivals Er paauga zale leipa, Pasiejau maza popa (titles of traditional Samogitian songs), and arranges village meetings (the so-called `krivules`) of `barn` theatres.

About the Museum
In 1967 the first exhibit - a bath-house from Tryskiai area - was brought to the museum. In 1982 the museum welcomed its visitors.
The museum`s director is Gediminas Satkauskas.
