Museum collections
The museum contains collections of
puppets, masks, stage props, other elements of stage settings, and
memorabilia of past performances.
Exposition
In the small exhibition
hall of the museum, there are marionette puppet compositions from the
first performances in this theatre recalling the aesthetics of pure
realism. In addition there are personages from both past and present
theatre performances, stylized by artists and reflecting a wide range of
characters including princesses, kings, enchanters, small devils,
mythological creatures and various animals.
The museum was established through the initiative of Valerija and Stasys
Ratkeviciai.
