202,500 inhabitants. Ethnic descent: 63 % are Lithuanian, 28,2 % - Russian,
2,7 % - Byelorussia, 0,5 - Polish, and 5,6 % - of other descents.

areas. Of the total, 48 % are men, and 52 % - women. Ethnic descent: 98 % are
Lithuanian, 1 % - Russian, 1 % - of other descents.
