The Ethno cultural Center is built in the Fachwerk style. Its small cozy 50-or-60-place hall is suitable for different chamber events.
Ethno-Cultural Center organizes:

  • Series of activities (such as lectures, discussions, seminars, ethno-schools, celebrations on the city streets and squares) during the traditional calendar holidays: John’s Day, All Saints’ Day, Fasting, Christmas, Pancakes’ Day, Easter, George’s Day;

  • Educational, entertaining events for schoolchildren „Around Klaipeda City”;

  • Seminars for teachers;

  • Concerts, evenings, informative folklore evenings with scientific commentaries, lectures, etc.

The folklore ensembles „Alka” and „Kursiu ainiai”, national music instrumental group „Senoliai”, children folklore ensembles „Kursiukai”, „Vorusnele” and „Alkiukai” work in the ethno cultural Center. The repertoire of the ensembles includes songs, anthems, dances and instrumental music of Lithuania. All ensembles are actively giving concerts and preparing traditional holidays’ and other programs. They accept bookings.
