Exposition
The exposition of the museum displays numerous collections of
cutlery from the 16th–20th centuries, cookery-books, antique kitchen
furniture, paintings and other kitchen utensils from Lithuania, Holland,
France, Germany, Hungary, Spain, America and Australia.
The visitors of the exposition can find out a lot of interesting facts
about the history and origin of various kitchenware.
Events
The museum organises food tasting events, cooking
demonstrations and educational programmes about the dishes of
Lithuania’s culinary heritage.

Other facts
The museum was founded on May 14, 2008.
Vaclovas Kontrauskas, a businessman and collector, was the founder of
the museum.
V. Kontrauskas has been collecting various kitchenware for over 20
years.
