Tour – 25 Lt (in Lithuanian), 40 Lt (in foreign language)
50% discount – schoolchildren, students, visitors with International student
card (ISIC), military service, senior citizens.
Free entrance – preschool children, residents of children’s homes, disabled
of I and II group, staff of museums of Lithuania, ICOM members, artists,
students of art schools, students of Fine Art department of Vilnius Academy
of Fine Arts and Vytautas Magnus University, journalists, AICA members, EU
citizens September 1 through June 1 on Wednesdays.
Collection
The museum contains the A. Žmuidzinavičius collection of sculptures and
carvings of devils, and a collection of devils from the whole world.
The collection consists of around 3000 articles of arts and crafts, fine
arts and souvenirs. The biggest part of the souvenir collection is comprised
of sculptures of devils made of wood, glass, textile, porcelain and paper.
The collection of devils also includes masks, witches and other mythological
characters. Visitors also contribute to this collection by giving presents.
Exposition
Collection of devils (collected by A. Žmuidzinavičius himself are shown, but
presents of visitors of the museum as well: devils, witches, personages of
various myths and fairy tales).
Cultural, educational
activity
Educational programs "Deviltry".
Other news
In 1982 a special wing was built for the collection of "Devils".
