Register now for the DISH2009 pre-conference!

On Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 December, the Netherlands Institute for Heritage  and the DEN Foundation will be organising the international conference DISH2009 (Digital Strategies for Heritage) in Rotterdam.
On Tuesday 8 December, several leading heritage institutions from the Netherlands will host expert meetings on site as part of the DISH2009 pre-conference day.
We warmly invite you to attend all three days of the conference.

DISH2009 will be devoted to digital strategies for heritage. Central themes at the conference will be policies for digital services, business model innovation, open IT, strategies for co-operation and developments in the digital society. Following research and practice, leading speakers from 11 countries will elaborate on these themes in workshops, presentations and debates.

The pre-conference sessions offer an excellent look behind the scenes at well known heritage institutions in the Netherlands. Learn more about the digital collaboration among 15 maritime museums; discuss the digital projects of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam; join a workshop on innovation for audiovisual archives; hear Matt Adams talk about e-culture; visit some outstanding institutions in the Antwerp network; get an overview of what Europeana is all about; and is it really true: No game, no fame? Register now for one of the DISH2009 preconference sessions! The sessions are on site in Rotterdam, Delft, Amsterdam, Antwerp and The Hague.

Costs and Registration
Participation fee for two conference days is € 175 for 1 day and € 275 for two days. A special student discount is available.
The participation fee for the pre-conference is € 50.

Please note that a special welcoming drink will be hosted by the Major of Rotterdam, Mr. Aboutaleb at the Burgerzaal of the city hall on Coolsingel 40 in Rotterdam at 5PM on 8 December.
